What's New: Summary
Create server side eDrawings and serve them to the users with custom stamps

Requires one licence of eDrawings professional server side.

Create server side eDrawings files in a matter of seconds, apply custom stamps and serve them to the users.

The stamps added can be customized to depend on the record (for instance NOT RELEASED for work in progress drawings) or on the user requesting the eDrawings document.

We provide sample of scripts that can manage the most common cases.

Batch download and alternative documents

Web Client adds download of multiple selections of documents, displaying a dialog where you can see the list of files and confirm the selection.

In the new version the alternative documents are not only associated with security limitations and can be downloaded in batch also from administrators and other users that would normally have access also to the 'real' files.
A dialog allows you to review the list of downloads and select which ones you will get.

Alternative documents can now use separate drive mappings, which allows you to store them onto separate drives.

Attached documents

You can specify search patterns, both for path and file name, to look for attached documents.
The macros that specify the location and file name can include information coming from the ID, original file name and revision.

These documents don't have to be referenced in the database and can be stored anywhere as far as their location is among the search patterns.

Access control can be set at single document level and based upon DBWARM users and groups.

Display client side scripts as menu items

You can define custom scripts that are downloaded and displayed as menu entries on the clients.
The scripts receive as parameters full information on the current record.
The availability of each of these scripts can depend on the record selected as well as the DBWARM identity.

Automatic action after download

It is now possible to trigger a custom action on the completion of a download generated by a server side custom action.

General condition to be applied to all Web Client users

It is now possible to define a general SQL condition that is applied to all the users and documents in the Web Client environment.
This condition is normally used to make sure that a given class of documents and/or records is not available in Web environment.

Remote approval and increment of revision

You can approve or increment the revision remotely.

If your custom scripts rely on human interaction for choices and use standard DBWorks dialogs the dialogs will be displayed on the client while the script runs on the server.

The interaction can be timed out and works in real time.

Open from local network

If the file is available on the local network it can be made available directly from the LAN.

Projects
Expand into Tree Views

The projects can now be expanded in separate tabs display a DBWorks-like tree.

The tree of projects and the trees in general can now include any of the fields available in the DOCUMENT table.

The queries that create the tree have been optimized for performance to handle large trees within seconds.

The tabs can display a custom header and are maintained across sessions for the same user.

Selection of Projects

Create selection of projects to filter your queries and switch from on to the other with one click.

The selections are maintained across the sessions.

Define custom document types

Define your own document types applying conditions on any of the attributes.
The document types declared can be made available to users or groups selectively.

Loading... animation

In the trees panel a 'Loading...' animation starts at each update.
This helps you to understand when the tree update is complete if the result of the query is an empty tree.

Preview of ME10 documents and textual preview of projects

Web Client now correctly previews ME10 files.

Web Client displays a textual preview od the projects including the relevant field values (non null and no empty string).

Export query results

A button has been added on the far right to allow the user to export the query results as a comma delimited textual .csv format that can be opened in Microsoft Excel.
The grid headers are exported as the very first line.

Improved notifications for licenses cap hit

The messages displayed for failed logins have been improved for clarity.
