With MechWorks Web Client, the database and its documents can be selectively published for business partner access (world-wide) through the web. User’s access, visibility, and functionality is controlled by applying group level permissions from the MechWorks User Rights Manager. Web Client enables global connections to your Production or Released database instances with standard Internet Browsers, allowing filtered access to product data from anywhere in the world. On-demand creation of PDF, TIFF, and DXF files; dockable frames plus custom actions make the MechWorks Web Client an extremely powerful database web-publisher. You can let the server assign you new IDs remotely, then work on the new models and uploaded when you’re done. Web Client will assign the right attributes in the database for you. Check out the documents remotely, edit them and check them in from your remote location.
